Boston / New York City to Naples from $516 in October, Roundtrip.

Naples is an amazing city to visit, owing to the treasure trove of Roman ruins scattered around the Bay of Naples. The most famous are the ruins of Pompeii, but Herculaneum has even better-preserved ruins.

Clearly there’s more to Naples than ancient ruins. On my second trip to Naples I stayed on the north side of the city, in the seaside town of Pozzuoli. The main square in Pozzuoli has a restaurant called Picea, which for my money makes the best pizza I have ever eaten, anywhere (I went back four times just to make sure).

Like any major city in Italy, the nightlife is excellent, with many places offering excellent aperitivo deals. The stunning island of Capri is just a short ferry trip away, and even in October the water is warm enough to swim in. Here are two excellent flight deals to Naples from New York and Boston — the one from New York is nonstop each way, which is awesome.

From New York:

Oct 13-22 JFK-Naples on Meridiana for 4245 NOK ($516). Support this website by making your purchase on DoHop.

From Boston:

Oct 13-22 Bos-Naples on Turkish Airlines for 4627 NOK ($563), with a 16 hour layover each way in Istanbul. Support this website by making your purchase on DoHop.
