It’s really easy to find cheap flights from Washington, D.C. to London or Paris, but it gets a bit more complicated if you want to visit both of those cities. Throw in a trip to Iceland, which these days is on just about everyone’s travel bucket list, and the airfare could easily cost more than $1,000.
That’s why this is such a superb deal, because it gives you the chance to visit London and Paris (you’ll have to find your way between the two cities but if you want to save as much money as possible, FlixBus offers tickets for €25).
The sample fare I found is for the middle of January, but it’s probably about the same cost for any ten day period throughout the month.
Jan 11 from Washington Dulles to London Heathrow on Icelandair, with a quick 100 minute stopover.
Jan 22 from Paris Orly to Washington Dulles on Icelandair, with a 25 hour stopover in Reykjavik.
